The human behind the terminal

I'm Varun Agnihotri, a third-year student pursuing a rare dual degree - a BS in Data Science at IIT Madras and a BTech in Computer Science at NIT Andhra Pradesh, simultaneously.

My work lives where two disciplines collide: I engineer LLM interpretability tooling and data pipelines as a Research Engineer at Straive, while competing globally in cybersecurity CTFs and competitive programming. I love understanding systems deeply - whether that's the stochastic behaviour of a language model, the architecture of a scalable backend, or the subtle flaw that lets you capture a flag.

I was the National Champion of Coding League Season 2 and have led web teams for national tech festivals. When I'm not shipping code, I'm probably reversing a binary or reading about model internals.
